Shepherd Chikarakara

Shepherd Chikarakara is an experienced supply chain professional currently serving as the Supply Chain Planning and Logistics Senior Director for PepsiCo in Sub-Saharan Africa since April 2020. In this role, Shepherd is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of supply chain functions, including demand forecasting, inventory management, and transportation, while focusing on cost optimization and supplier relationship management. Previously, Shepherd held various leadership positions at Pioneer Foods and Tiger Brands, including Manufacturing Executive and Plant Manager. Experience also includes roles at Unilever South Africa Plc and RB. Shepherd Chikarakara holds an Aspire Executive Leadership Program certificate from Harvard Business School, a Master of Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, and a BSc (Hons) in Chemical Technology from Midlands State University.
