Sheyla Ramsay, PhD, is an accomplished professional in chemical engineering with extensive experience in academia and the food industry. From July 1992 to June 1997, Sheyla served as an Assistant Professor of Chemical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology, where courses were developed in areas such as Mass Transfer and Chemical Process Controls. Since joining PepsiCo in September 2016, Sheyla has advanced through various roles, including R&D Fellow, Senior Principal Engineer, and R&D Director for Global Process Function, focusing on product development, process optimization, and commercialization of new food products. In addition, Sheyla has expertise in developing process monitoring and control strategies and leveraging new technologies within the food industry. Sheyla holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Colorado State University, earned in 1992.
