Chris Merry serves as Chairman of One Four Nine Group, an independent financial advice and investment management firm since January 2024. As a Founding Member of PEPTalks, Merry contributes to a peer-to-peer learning community for private equity-backed CEOs. Previously, Merry was Group Chief Executive Officer at Stonehage Fleming from September 2019 to August 2023, overseeing wealth management for leading families and wealth creators. Other notable roles include Chief Executive at Ipes, RSM Tenon, and Matrix Group Limited, and a Non-Executive member of the UK Board and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee for VSO. Merry began a career in executive search with Whitehead Mann and served as Governor and Treasurer for the Rokeby Educational Trust. Educational credentials include a BA in English from Bedford College, U. of London.
