Benjamin Cossins

Benjamin Cossins is currently the Director of Computational Drug Design at Peptone, a position they began in 2024. Previously, they held roles as Director of Molecular Dynamics and Head of Design Development at Exscientia from 2021 to 2024. Benjamin completed their PhD at the University of Southampton from 2003 to 2007 and later worked as a Principal Scientist at UCB from 2011 to 2021, where they focused on molecular dynamics in small molecule drug discovery. Their academic background includes a Master of Research in Bioinformatics from Birkbeck, University of London, and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics from The University of Sheffield.
