Pequod Acoustics makes high quality audio equipment for professional users and audiophiles. The company, located in Florence, in the center of Tuscany, a region rich in history and extreme creativity ,began as a research project in pursuit of the highest acoustic quality possibile, combining new technology with overlooked acoustical theory. Enlisting the collaboration of experts in speaker components, composite construction, and acoustics, we created products that have exceeded our highest expectations. Our skilled craftsmen create each Pequod product with the highest care and attention: a collection of acoustic objects handmade with the attention to detail, typical of creating unique pieces. Now, after years of refinement and experimentation, we have a range of speakers to meet any need, worldwide distribution, and many custom installations in nightclubs,
discos, and other venues all over the world.
Hi Pro is a category of audio equipment that we have created out of necessity. Our devices reproduce sound with the clarity of the best HIGH-END systems, those sought out by audiophiles looking for perfect sound. At the same time, we are working with intensity levels that are required by the PROFESSIONAL marketplace, where you need the energy to reach a large group of people. In the past, users had to accept either high- end quality or just pure power, because both were not possibile (without massive expense). With our unique technological solutions, you can have it both ways.
