Alex Shaffer

Alex Shaffer is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in project engineering and control systems. Currently serving as a Senior Project Engineer at PERC Engineering since September 2025, Alex previously held the role of Terminal Technologies Architect at Global Partners LP and spent a decade at Motiva Enterprises LLC in various roles, including Automation and Control Systems Team Lead and Project Engineer. Earlier career experience includes positions at Proserv as a Project Engineer, Weatherford as a Product Sustaining Engineer, and work at Texas A&M University and other companies. Alex holds a degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from Texas A&M University, completed in 2009.
