Stuart Childs

Stuart Childs is an experienced software developer and engineer, with a history of working on projects for a variety of businesses. Stuart has experience with web application development using Java/Spring/Hibernate, Ruby/Rails and NodeJS, and frontend work utilizing Ember, Handlebars, RequireJS, jQuery and Knockout. Additionally, they have worked with databases including MSSQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL and ElasticSearch. Stuart has also used cloud computing platforms such as AWS and Heroku, as well as Salesforce (SOQL and custom Apex code).

Stuart is knowledgeable in Agile and XP practices such as TDD, pair programming, requirements gathering and retrospectives. Stuart is currently employed as an engineering at Percent. Prior to that, they served as Principal Software Engineer at Zipcar from November 2014 to March 2020. Before that, they were a software developer at Cyrus Innovation from January 2012 to October 2014.

Stuart Childs earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Belmont University.
