Christopher Brew is an applied AI scientist with extensive experience in data-driven natural language processing (NLP) since 2011. They have held various roles, including Computational Linguist at Facebook and Senior Principal Data Scientist at LivePerson. Brew has contributed to research in prominent institutions such as Nuance Communications and the University of Edinburgh, where they were involved in projects related to conversational user interfaces and linguistic annotation tools. Currently, Brew teaches a graduate NLP class at The Ohio State University and works as a Principal Data Scientist at LexisNexis. They earned a D.Phil in Natural Language Processing from the University of Sussex.
