Dimitri Vanoverbeke

Dimitri Vanoverbeke has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Dimitri started their career in 2006 as a System Engineer ITOPS at Punch Telematix, where they worked until 2010. After that, they held various roles as a Tivoli Access Manager Consultant at SecurIT, a Consultant at TAATU, and a Consultant at VDAB.

In 2011, Dimitri worked as a System Engineer TAMeb (as a consultant from Inuits) at KBC Bank & Verzekering. The following year, they served as a System Engineer MySQL and Linux at UnifiedPost.

In 2012, Dimitri joined Ghent University as a Portal System Engineer, where they worked until 2013. During this time, they also owned Refresh Page, a company they founded in 2013.

From 2010 to 2013, Dimitri worked as an Open Source Consultant at Inuits, gaining expertise in open-source technology.

Since 2013, Dimitri has been associated with Percona, starting as a Technical Account Manager. In this role, they provided pre-sales assistance, technical expertise, and customer success support. In 2016, they transitioned to the position of Senior Solution Engineer, where they continue to contribute to customer success and provide technical guidance on MySQL and MongoDB implementations.

Dimitri Vanoverbeke began their education at Sint Jozef from 2000 to 2003. Following this, they attended Katho Reno from 2003 to 2005, though no degree or field of study information is available for either institution. In terms of additional certifications, Dimitri obtained TOGAF® 9 certification from The Open Group in September 2020. Dimitri also achieved the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2023, and the Amazon Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from AWS in October 2019.
