Varun Nagaraju

Varun Nagaraju began their work experience in 2017 at Oracle MySQL, where they started as an Associate Member Technical Staff. In this role, they focused on upgrade and downgrade testing of MySQL NDB Cluster, developing a dashboard to display test results, and migrating the Autotest infrastructure to Python and Groovy. Varun then took on the role of Qualified Member Technical Staff, where they refined the Autotest project, reported numerous bugs, and provided peer reviews for tests.

In 2022, Varun joined Percona as a Software Engineer. Their responsibilities included performing upstream merges of MySQL based products, integrating cloud testing with Percona XtraBackup, and fixing issues in the open-source testing tool Pstress. Varun was also an active contributor to the upstream project of Oracle, MySQL.

Overall, Varun Nagaraju has demonstrated expertise in MySQL and has made significant contributions to testing and infrastructure development in their previous roles at Oracle MySQL and their current position at Percona.

Varun Nagaraju attended Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering in Mysore from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science.
