Ben Sherman

Ben Sherman is an experienced safety professional currently serving as the Director of Safety for Manufacturing Operations at Perdue Farms since October 2019. Previous roles include Area Safety and Health Director at Pilgrims from May 2014 to October 2019, and Complex Safety Manager at Pilgrims Pride from October 2012 to May 2014. Prior experience also encompasses Safety Director at Future Environmental Inc., where responsibilities included overseeing all aspects of the Environmental, Health, and Safety Division and conducting audits across multiple states. Additionally, Ben served as Regional Safety Manager at Sargent Safety, focusing on compliance with safety regulations and conducting safety assessments. Ben holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Hygiene and a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, along with a minor in Communications, all from West Virginia University.
