Brad Harrington has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the IT field. Brad started their career at Perdue Farms in 1998 as a Senior Programmer Analyst. After two years, they moved on to work as a Senior Consultant at Arthur Andersen in 2001. In 2002, they became the CIO at American Forest Products, where they worked for nearly a decade. Harrington returned to Perdue Farms in 2012 and held multiple roles, including IT Customer Relationship Manager, Director of Business Partnership Supply Chain, and currently serves as the Vice President of IT for Perdue Foods.
Brad Harrington earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Salisbury University from 1991 to 1994. Brad later pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business from 1997 to 2000.

Arthur W. Perdue founded Perdue Farms in 1920 but the company gained national attention as a brand name in the 1970s when son and successor, Franklin P. Perdue, became television pitchman for the company. Today, Jim Perdue, grandson of the founder, is the chief executive and the face of Perdue on television. The company sells chicken and turkey products to food retailers and food service companies in the Eastern and Midwestern U.S. and exports poultry products to more than 70 foreign countries around the world. Perdue runs two soybean-processing plants that produce vegetable oils and ingredients for animal feed.
