Jeffrey Shaw has extensive work experience in the food industry. Jeffrey started their career in 1989 in the US Navy as a Machinist Mate. After leaving the military, they worked as a Maintenance Technician at Saunders Brothers in 1995. Jeffrey then joined Barber Foods in 1996, where they held various roles such as Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, Six Sigma Black Belt, Safety Manager, and Director of Quality Systems. In 2011, they became a Plant Manager at Advance Pierre in Portland, ME. Currently, they are working at Perdue Farms, where they started as a Vice President of Food Safety & Quality in 2016 and was promoted to Senior Vice President of Food Safety & Quality in August 2020.
Jeffrey Shaw obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Southern Maine, where they studied from 1999 to 2007. Prior to that, they attended SMTC from 1997 to 2003, focusing on Industrial Electrical without obtaining a degree.
