Jon Heard has extensive experience in the fields of industrial engineering and maintenance management, currently serving as Sr. Manager of Maintenance & Reliability Talent Development at Perdue Farms since September 2013. Prior positions at Perdue include Engineering, Maintenance, Technical Development & Recruiting Manager and Sr. Industrial Engineer, where Jon focused on enhancing operational efficiencies and driving cost reductions within the Prepared Foods Division. Before joining Perdue, Jon was the Owner of Escape Artists Wartown LLC, a local escape room business operational from September 2016 to December 2020. Jon also held the role of Industrial Engineering Manager at Smithfield Packing from December 2007 to July 2013, overseeing multiple plants, and was an Industrial Engineer at Tyson Foods from April 2003 to October 2007, where Jon researched and implemented new processes and equipment. Jon earned a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Arkansas between 2000 and 2002.
