Monic C. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Monic began their career as a Marketing & Sales Supervisor at Le Famme Boutique, where they were responsible for merchandising and marketing initiatives for French and New York designer brands. Monic then worked as a Creative Executive at madame FIGARO TAIWAN, where they conducted advertising concepts for clients in the fashion magazine industry. Monic also served as a Marketing Executive at LE PALAIS de TAIWAN, managing merchandising and marketing initiatives for French haircare products.

Monic later transitioned into the field of graphic design, working as a Graphic Designer at ABC Carpet & Home and MARC ROSEN ASSOCIATES. Monic collaborated with creative and advertising directors on various print and digital ads for major interior and international magazines. Monic also had a teaching assistant role at Pratt Institute.

In 2009, Monic joined the fashion industry again as the Co-Founder & Buyer at SATURDAY GUY Co., an international online shopping site. Monic aimed to offer fashion lovers unique designer brands from around the world. Monic then served as an Assistant Marketing/Brand Manager at The One International Cosmetics.

Monic further expanded their skill set by working as a Senior Engineer/UI Design at HTC, where they managed user interface and visual design for apps and collaborated with the UX team. Monic currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager at Perfect Corp., driving the design, implementation, and deployment of new features for AI and AR beauty tech solutions.

Throughout their career, Monic has demonstrated strong project management skills, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and a passion for design and innovation.

Monic C. obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) in Fashion Design from Shih Chien University, graduating in 2002. Monic then pursued a Master of Science (M.S) in Communication Design and Packaging Design from Pratt Institute, completing their degree in 2010.

In addition to their formal education, Monic C. has obtained several certifications. In September 2017, they completed the course "Agile Meets Design Thinking" offered by Coursera. Furthermore, in November 2022, they completed the certifications "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" and "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design" on Coursera. In December 2022, they acquired the certification "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes," and in January 2023, they completed the certification "Conduct UX Research and Test Early Concepts." Most recently, in April 2023, Monic C. obtained the certification "Create High-Fidelity Designs and Prototypes in Figma" and "Responsive Web Design in Adobe XD," both from Coursera.
