Wayne Liu

Wayne Liu has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Wayne is currently serving as the Chief Growth Officer and President of America at Perfect Corp. since March 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of SVP and General Manager at Perfect Corp. from January 2019 to March 2022. Wayne also worked as the GM and VP of Business Development at Perfect Corp. from June 2015 to January 2019.

In addition, Wayne Liu has worked at USC Alumni Association as an Advisory Board Member since June 2022. Before that, they had a stint at CyberLink where they held the position of Assistant Vice President of Global Business Development from April 2015 to June 2016, and the role of Director of Business Development and OEM Account from October 2009 to April 2015.

Wayne Liu also worked at NVIDIA as a GPU Program Manager from January 2003 to October 2009, managing the graphic processor unit chip development programs. Wayne was responsible for project planning and execution, resource allocation, milestone tracking, and communication with stakeholders.

Earlier in their career, Wayne Liu held positions at LinCom Wireless as a Design Manager, at Broadcom as a Sr. Staff Design Engineer, and at Intel as a Sr. HW Design Engineer. Wayne also worked at USC/ISI as a Design Engineer, where they performed transistor-level circuit design and layout tasks.

Wayne Liu has a diverse educational background spanning different fields and degrees. Wayne began their education at the National Tsing Hua University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from 1987 to 1991. Wayne then pursued a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering at Case Western Reserve University from 1992 to 1994.

Afterward, Wayne joined the University of Southern California, where they embarked on a PhD program in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 1994 to 1997. Wayne further expanded their qualifications by completing an MBA with a specialization in Finance at Santa Clara University from 2007 to 2011.

Wayne continued their professional development with several certifications. Wayne obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) in December 2010. Additionally, they completed various online courses on Coursera, including "Introduction to Data Analytics," "Using Databases with Python," "Using Python to Access Web Data," "Programming for Everybody (Getting Started with Python)," and "Python Data Structures" between December 2020 and March 2021.

In 2020, Wayne attended Kellogg Executive Education for a program focused on Digital Marketing Strategies. Wayne'smost recent educational endeavor is pursuing a Doctor of Education (EdD) degree in Organization Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California, which they are expected to complete from 2022 to 2024.
