James Boyd

James Boyd has extensive experience in various roles related to information services, technology, and education. Currently serving as a Utility Analyst 2 for the State of Iowa since August 2018, James previously worked as a Wordsmith for Perfection Learning, where responsibilities included proofreading and copy editing educational materials. As Operations Coordinator for the Iowa Radio Reading Information Service, James facilitated access to printed materials for blind and print-disabled individuals. Other notable positions include Reference/Technology Librarian at Bondurant Community Library, Owner of Computer Tutor Jim Boyd, and roles at various public libraries. James holds a Master of Information Science from Emporia State University and a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism from Grand View University.
