Miriam Halimi

Miriam Halimi has a diverse work experience in the field of clinical informatics and nursing. Miriam currently holds the role of VP, Clinical Informatics at PerfectServe starting from July 2023. Miriam also has experience as a Member at Chief from February 2023. Prior to their current positions, they served as Vice President, Chief Nursing Innovation Officer at Baptist Health from October 2022 to May 2023 and as Vice President, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer from January 2021 to October 2022. Miriam has also held leadership positions at Beaumont Health as Vice President, Clinical Informatics from June 2019 to December 2020 and as Vice President and Chief Nursing Information Officer from December 2016 to June 2019. Furthermore, they worked at Trinity Health as Vice President, Chief Nursing Informatics Officer from August 2014 to November 2016 and as System Director, Nursing Informatics from December 2012 to August 2014. Miriam started their work experience at Holy Cross Hospital, where they held various roles including Director, Clinical Informatics from March 2007 to November 2012. Additionally, they have experience teaching as they facilitated the Nursing Informatics Online Synchronous Review Course at the American Nurse Credentialing Center from September 2008 to November 2009. Miriam began their career as a Registered Nurse at St. Agnes Healthcare from July 1999 to December 2002.

Miriam Halimi has an extensive education history. Miriam attended the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law from 2015 to 2018 and obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in the field of Law.

Prior to that, from 2007 to 2009, they attended the University of Maryland Baltimore where they earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree. Additionally, during the same period, they received a Post Masters Certificate in Nursing Informatics from the same university.

In 2000, Miriam Halimi pursued their MBA from the University of Baltimore, specializing in Business. As part of their academic journey, they also completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Nursing Administration from the University of Maryland Baltimore in 2001.

Furthermore, Miriam Halimi holds several certifications. Miriam obtained the Nurse Executive certification from the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) in May 2016. In June 2013, they also acquired the Informatics Nurse certification from the ANCC.
