Nikolay Piskun

Nikolay Piskun is an experienced Software Architect currently employed at Perforce Software since January 2019, where responsibilities include overseeing various projects and managing Scrum Sprints as a Certified Scrum Master, alongside porting the TotalView debugger to multiple platforms. Prior to this role, Nikolay served as Director of Continuing Engineering at Rogue Wave Software from 2010 to January 2019, focusing on technical support for key customers, porting the TotalView debugger, exploring future technologies like AWS Cloud, and representing the company at major conferences. Earlier experience includes directing the Continuing Engineering group at TotalView Technologies, contributing to the support of multiple debuggers, and working as a Senior Software Architect at aQuery, where design and development of a meaning-based search engine prototype were key responsibilities. Nikolay holds a Ph.D. in Physics from The Ohio State University and dual Master’s degrees in Physics from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology.
