Our desire to innovate the Allied Health Space came from the lack of quality care in our industry. Our owners Harley & Scott both worked in a more traditional health "turnstile" model, where patient-centered care and evidence-based treatment were not at the forefront. Too often were our patients and family/friends unhappy with the results from their healthcare providers. They felt they were not being listened to and their problems were not being addressed correctly. Short consult times and manual therapy dependency was the common practice. Our Philosophy and core values emerged from the desire to do the opposite: Provide accessible, evidence-based care that focuses on long-term results and independence for our clients. And that's what we provide.

Scott and Harley created Perform Well in January 2022. Perform Well is the brainchild and merger of Effectus Physio and Active Matters Exercise Physiology. After 4 years of operating collaboratively in the same space, Perform Well was the natural merger for these businesses. Our shared philosophies and values are synthesised into a singular entity, striving for the gold standard of care in the industry.

Since then, we have continued to evolve from the amazing patient results that came from the marriage of evidence-based physiotherapy with exercise physiology.
