Benjamin Markham

Benjamin Markham has over 30 years of experience in sales and marketing. Benjamin began their career in 1988 as a Lead Instructional Designer at Applied Learning Inc. In 1990, they joined Chicago Metallic as a District Sales Manager and eventually became the Training & Development Manager. In 1997, they took on the role of Director, Extrusion Coatings Group at Morton International, where they were responsible for the P&L of a $75 million business unit and grew sales and profits significantly. Benjamin then moved to Tekra Corporation in 1999, where they were Vice President and General Manager and was responsible for domestic manufacturing and both international and domestic sales. In 2001, they became COO of the D&K Group. In 2002, they became Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Roll Coater Inc., a private equity firm (Willis Stein and Partners). In 2017, they joined Unity Aluminum as Managing Director Sales and Performance Associates, Inc. as a Sales and Marketing Consultant. In 2020, they became Chief Commercial Officer at Flack Global Metals.

Benjamin Markham received a BS in Workforce Education and Development (Organizational Training and Development) from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale in 1985-1986. Benjamin then went on to receive an MS in the same field from the same university in 1986-1987. In 1995-1996, they completed an Executive Education in Strategic Planning from the University of Chicago. Afterwards, they completed a similar Executive Education in Strategic Planning from Michigan State University - Eli Broad College of Business in 1996-1997. Additionally, they obtained the Inbound Sales Certified certification from HubSpot Academy in December 2021.
