Ben Evans is a Senior Embedded Engineer at PDW, having transitioned to this role in 2024 after serving as a Software Engineer at Dynetics, Inc. from 2016 to 2022, where they developed image processing algorithms for EO/IR sensors. Ben also gained valuable experience as an Engineering Intern at the Tennessee Valley Authority and as a Research Intern at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and pursued graduate studies in Computer Science at Georgia Institute of Technology. Outside of work, Ben enjoys woodworking, metalworking, welding, and riding motorcycles, and they are a proud parent to a young child and three dogs.
