Michael Merrell

Michael Merrell currently serves as Vice President of Sales at Performance Foodservice, a position held since March 2021, focusing on sales strategies and team leadership. Prior to this role, Michael accumulated extensive experience at Reinhart Foodservice from 1992 to March 2021, where responsibilities included Vice President of Sales, Director of Sales, and Regional Sales Manager, overseeing sales growth in northwestern Wisconsin markets and leading a team of sales consultants. Earlier in the career, Michael was a Sales Consultant, significantly increasing sales on a rural route, and started as a Butcher managing customer orders. In addition, Michael served on the Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Restaurant Association from January 2015 to August 2018. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Management from Viterbo University and an Associate's degree in Supervisory Management from Western Technical College.
