Michael Serrano

Michael Serrano is an experienced professional with a diverse background in both law enforcement and military service. Currently serving as a CDL A Truck Driver at Performance Foodservice since July 2022, Serrano previously held the same position at Casella Waste Systems, Inc. from March 2022 to July 2022. Before transitioning to the trucking industry, Serrano dedicated over 16 years to the San Diego Police Department, progressing through ranks from Police Officer to Sergeant and FTO Sergeant, where responsibilities included training new officers in patrol techniques. Additionally, Serrano served as a Captain in the US Army's Armor Branch, fulfilling roles such as Tank Platoon Leader and Company Executive Officer. Educational credentials include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, along with degrees in Criminal Justice Administration and Forestry from the same institution and Texas A&M University, respectively.
