Alex Stanilla

Alex Stanilla is an experienced freelance journalist with a focus on music, contributing to Northwest Music Scene since April 2015, where concert reviews, photography, and artist interviews are produced. Alongside journalism, Alex has worked as a sales associate at Performance Bicycle since March 2015, utilizing extensive product knowledge to assist customers. As an independent musician and singer-songwriter, Alex promotes work through the project "kangarooboy" on Bandcamp. Previous roles include bus boy/barback at The Timbers, photobooth operator and valet attendant at Chariot Valet Services Inc. Alex holds a Bachelor's Degree in Writing for Film & Television from the University of the Arts, completed in 2014.
