Michael Thompson

Michael Thompson is a Project Manager at Performance Services since August 2023, with extensive experience in managing large-scale projects. Previously at Bernhard from April 2017 to July 2023, Michael managed the $150 million Energy Performance Contract for the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences, marking it as the largest energy savings project in Arkansas and one of the largest in the United States. Michael also served as Assistant Project Manager for the $412 million St. Jude Advanced Research Center, focusing on preconstruction activities. Early career experience includes roles as a Production Engineering Intern and Intern at Genesis Energy, where Michael established operating procedures and mapped pipeline routes. Michael began the career as an Electrician's Assistant at Patton's Service Company. Michael holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University.
