Training and Development Manager at Performance Systems Development (PSD)

Sarah Germain has a diverse work experience in various instructional and managerial roles. Sarah most recently worked as a Training and Development Manager at Performance Systems Development (PSD) starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Professional Development Manager at Federal Laboratory Consortium from July 2021 to April 2022, where they were responsible for programming education and training opportunities for conferences, webinars, and reference materials. Sarah also overhauled and optimized virtual education program content and facilitated member involvement through effective communication.

Before their role at Federal Laboratory Consortium, Sarah worked as an Instructional staff member at Hillsborough County Public Schools from August 2020 to May 2021, where they provided curriculum content to eLearning classes, analyzed data for personalized student plans, and mentored students. Sarah also worked as an Instructional staff member at The Sonder Autism Center from April 2019 to August 2020.

Sarah's previous experience includes working as a Curriculum Developer at EnSoul Music Designs from June 2018 to June 2019, and as an Instructional staff member at Odyssey Charter School from August 2016 to May 2018. At Odyssey Charter School, they engaged students through Project Based Learning and Universal Learning Design, and also played a role in expanding the Fine Arts Department's program budget through event planning and volunteer coordination.

Sarah Germain completed their Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education at the State University of New York College at Potsdam from 2010 to 2014. Following that, they pursued a Master of Arts in Music at the University of Central Florida from 2014 to 2016. In January 2019, Sarah obtained a certification as a Teacher, Music-General Classroom from The Florida Department of Education.
