Mark Saunders

Mark Saunders is a trusted advisor to community financial institutions, with over 29 years of experience in the banking and financial services sectors. They co-founded Banks Street Partners in 2009, where they served as Managing Director and Principal until its sale to Performance Trust in 2019. Currently, Mark holds the position of Managing Director at Performance Trust Capital Partners. They began their career in journalism as a reporter for The Daily Times and progressed through various roles in financial analysis and reporting, including senior positions at SNL Financial and Morgan Keegan. Mark earned a degree in History from the University of Virginia in 1994.
