Matthew Shields

Matthew Shields is a Managing Director and Head of FIG Capital Markets at Performance Trust Capital Partners, where they lead capital markets efforts. With a background in financial statement analysis, equity trading, and institutional sales, Matthew has a proven career in the financial industry. Prior to joining Performance Trust, they served as Managing Director of Equity Capital Markets at Hovde Group and held various roles at FIG Partners, starting as an Associate in 2004. Matthew holds a BA in Economics and Legal Studies from Ithaca College and an MBA from the University of Georgia. They are also an active board member of the Georgia Securities Association and involved with The One World Health Organization.
