Gareth Edwards

Gareth Edwards has over 20 years of work experience. Gareth started their career as an Interest Reviewer at Standard Bank in 1998. Gareth then worked as a Field Technician at Unisys in 1999, where they fixed, installed, and troubleshooted clients' computers. Gareth also contributed to the planning of clients' branch layouts. In 2000, they worked as a Data Capturer at Standard Bank for a brief period. From 2001 to 2002, they served as a Junior Lecturer at IT Intellect, where they lectured on various IT courses and managed hardware and software. In 2002, they joined Damelin as a Lecturer, providing educational instruction. Gareth returned to Standard Bank in 2002, initially as a Lan Administrator contractor and later assuming roles such as LAN Administrator, Technical Specialist, Manager - Systems Management, and Technical Lead - Systems Management. During their time at Standard Bank, Gareth created and implemented various solutions, managed infrastructure teams, provided support, and developed scripts and applications. In 2012, they joined Performanta as the Vice President - Strategic Development, overseeing the development team's efforts to deliver unique applications and tools.
