Mathias Kaasgaard

Mathias Kaasgaard is an experienced Investment Manager at Danmarks Eksport - og Investeringsfond since October 2017, focusing on VC investments in early-stage companies, particularly in fintech, AI, SMB SaaS, and digital marketplaces across Denmark. Previously, Mathias served as an Investment Associate, managing investments in the €150K-400K range, and worked as an Analyst at VF Venture, where responsibilities included the screening and analysis of pre- and seed-stage companies. Mathias holds a Master of Science in Economics and Business Administration with a specialization in Finance and Accounting from Copenhagen Business School, as well as additional qualifications from Reforge and further education in Board Work in High-Growth SMEs. Current board roles include positions at Landfolk and Monthio, along with board observer roles at several other companies, reflecting a strong commitment to supporting emerging ventures in software industries.
