Peter Barry

Peter Barry has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to the present. Peter is currently the Co-founder & CTO of Performativ - Financial Solutions, where they are responsible for setting and delivering the technical strategy. Before that, they worked as a Cloud Architect & Technical Manager as an independent consultant, collaborating with startups, SMEs, and large corporate clients.

Prior to their consulting role, Peter worked at Goldman Sachs as an Executive Director - Software Development, leading the development of distributed pricing services and serving as a Product Lead for an internal UI framework. Peter also worked at Barclays Global Investors as a Software Developer, where they built a trading and analytics desktop platform for Securities Lending desks.

Peter's career started at Thoughtworks, where they gained experience as a Developer and Agile Consultant. Peter received training in agile consultancy and extreme programming practices and worked on various client projects, primarily using JVM and Javascript. Their domains of expertise included banking, insurance, and NGOs.

Peter Barry attended Bishop Vesey's Grammar School from an unknown start date until 1999. Peter then went on to study at Aston University from 2001 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computing Science.
