Dave Hinton

Dave Hinton is an experienced executive in the marketing technology sector, currently serving as an Operating Partner and Executive In Residence at Beringer Capital since December 2020. In addition to this role, Hinton is a Strategic Advisor for VeraData Decision Labs and Perform[cb], and previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Channel Factory from March 2022 to May 2023. Hinton's prior experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Trueffect, where Dave led the development of a technology platform that utilizes first-party data for digital marketing. As a co-founder of Acerno, Hinton was instrumental in pioneering behavioral targeting ad-platforms and was involved in its acquisition by Akamai Technologies. Hinton's educational background includes an M.B.A. from Washington State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Seattle Pacific University.
