James Cotter

James Cotter has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. James started their career in 2009 at Surefire Systems Pty Ltd as a Technical Analyst and Software Developer, where they were responsible for developing and maintaining a point of sale (POS) system for mid to large size supermarkets. In 2012, they joined Black Label Solutions as a Web Developer, leading the development of a multi-tenanted e-commerce suite. James later transitioned to a Senior Java Developer role, where they developed cloud-based RESTful APIs for mobile and web applications. Additionally, they served as a Scrum Master, assisting with project management. In 2018, they joined Performio as a Senior Software Engineer and was recently promoted to the role of Staff Engineer.

James Cotter completed their education in a chronological order. From 2004 to 2005, they attended Holmesglen, where they earned a Dual Advanced Diploma in Website Development and Multimedia Integration. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Software Engineering from Deakin University between 2006 and 2009. In September 2016, James obtained a certification as a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance.
