Katie Nickey has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Katie started their career as a student athlete at Middle Tennessee State University, where they participated in sports from 2005 to 2009. In 2009, they gained knowledge in the physical therapy field as a Physical Therapy Intern with D1 Sports Training.
From 2012 to 2021, Katie held multiple positions in different organizations. Katie worked as a Small Group Interval Training Coach at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and as an Exercise Physiologist in Cardiac Rehab at Saint Thomas Health. Additionally, they served as a Color Commentator for the Women's volleyball team at Middle Tennessee State University and as a Volleyball Coach at Battle Ground Academy.
In 2016, Katie became a Co-Owner of Pure Barre, where they also held the roles of Instructor and Sales Manager. Katie continued working at Pure Barre until September 2021 when they transitioned to their current position.
Since September 2021, Katie has been working at Performio. Katie started as a BDR, then advanced to the position of Senior BDR, and currently holds the role of BDR Team Lead.
Katie Nickey holds a Master's degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science which they obtained from Lipscomb University from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) from 2005 to 2009. Their education journey began at University School Of Jackson where they obtained their high school diploma between 1998 and 2005.
