Luan Mai

Luan Mai has over 15 years of experience in the IT industry. Luan started their career as a Data Processing Officer at Melbourne Mailing in 2005, where they were responsible for processing and verifying client data, developing techniques to improve program productivity, and generating reports. In 2010, Luan joined Database Consultants Australia as a Data Specialist, where they worked until 2011. Luan then returned to Melbourne Mailing as an IT Programmer, handling data processing and generating production data for printing until 2015. In the same year, Luan joined Experian as a Data Developer for a brief period. From 2015 to 2018, Luan worked at Lonsec as a Java/.NET Developer. In 2019, they joined InterCheck Australia as a Senior Software Developer and worked there until 2020. Currently, Luan is employed as a Software Engineer at Performio, starting in December 2020.

Luan Mai has a strong educational background in the field of technology and computing. In 2001, they began their academic journey at the University of Tasmania, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Systems in 2004. Following their undergraduate studies, Luan pursued further education at RMIT University. Luan completed a Graduate Diploma in Internet and Web Computing from 2006 to 2011. Later, they furthered their knowledge and expertise in this field by pursuing a Master of Technology (MTech) in Internet and Web Computing at RMIT University in 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Luan has also obtained a certification as a Junior Level Linux Professional (LPIC-1) from the LPI - Linux Professional Institute in January 2011.
