Director of Engineering at Performio

Miles Jordan is the current Director of Engineering at Performio. Prior to joining Performio, Jordan served as the Head of Technology at LeaseEagle from October 2018 to August 2020. In this role, Jordan was responsible for providing a technical voice on the company executive, establishing and executing on company product delivery strategy and roadmaps, setting and guiding the company on technology budgetary objectives, reducing the company's technology and security risk footprints, increasing the overall effectiveness of the engineering group, and managing strategic partnerships and external technical stakeholder engagements.

Jordan achieved several major accomplishments during their time at LeaseEagle, including raising the bar on security and establishing a pathway to SOC-2 compliance, establishing and maintaining a technical strategy and roadmap that balanced feature development with systems health and replatforming initiatives, introducing and managing "always-on" staff engagement surveys that achieved overwhelmingly positive results, introducing a custodianship programme to manage systems health, monitoring and alerting, and reduce interruptions for engineers (increasing focus and flow), establishing a cadence of communication around the work (planning, kick-offs, reviews, retros, etc.), managing the migration of enterprise technology to be 100% cloud-based to support staff working from home during COVID-19, achieving a 30% cost reduction in AWS billing, and maintaining 99.9% uptime.

Miles Jordan has a Master of IT Leadership from Deakin University, a Bachelor of Computing from University of Tasmania, and various certifications from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Scrum Alliance, Project Management Institute, Agile Academy, and Cisco Networking Academy.

Miles Jordan works with Neil Graham - CRO, Anna Schimelpfenig - Head of Talent, and Aimee Caton - Director of Marketing. Their manager is Grayson Morris, CEO.
