Trevor Read has extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as the Underground Electrical Superintendent at Perilya since August 2012, overseeing underground electrical infrastructure at Broken Hill Mines in New South Wales. Prior to this role, Trevor worked as an Electrical Projects Coordinator at Perilya from January 2004 to 2012, managing the implementation of 1000 Volt reticulation systems, fiber optic systems, and remote technologies surface control systems. Trevor’s career began at Pasminco, where the role of Electrical Supervisor from April 1987 to June 2003 involved supervising underground electrical infrastructure. Trevor holds a Trade Certificate in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from TAFE NSW Broken Hill (1980-1984) and completed secondary education at Broken Hill High School (1969-1979).
