Deepak Dhilip

Deepak Dhilip is currently working as a Cyber Security Analyst at PerimeterX and an Intelligence Analyst at DarkTower. Previously, they worked as a Malware Analyst at the University of Alabama at Birmingham where they monitored the activity of malicious actors on the internet and collected and categorized behavior of users in spam and fraud networks. Before that, they worked as a Network Engineer at Pulse Secure where they supported clients of Pulse Secure VPN technologies, maintained strict cryptographic encryption and security policies, and managed, upgraded, and monitored local VPN and authentication servers.

Deepak Dhilip has a diverse educational background. Deepak completed their Higher Secondary at Alpha Matriculation Higher Secondary School from 1998 to 2010, majoring in Computer Science. Deepak then earned a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology from 2010 to 2014. Most recently, Deepak earned their Master's degree in Cyber/Computer Forensics and Counterterrorism from the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 2019 to 2021. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including CompTIA Security+ ce Certification (SY0-601) from CompTIA in August 2021, Mobile Malware Analysis Fundamentals from Cybrary in July 2021, Introduction to Splunk from Cybrary in June 2021, Master of Science from University of Alabama at Birmingham in May 2021, Mobile App Security from Cybrary in March 2021, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) from Cisco in July 2015.
