Oorja Munot

Oorja Munot is an accomplished student leader and advocate with a strong focus on civic innovation and policy. Experience includes serving as a Georgetown '24 Civic Innovation Fellow at Civics Unplugged and leadership roles such as President of InnovateX and the Asian American Progressive Student Union. Oorja holds positions with various organizations, including Research Intern at Sensible and Morgan Stanley Finance Academy Fellow at Morgan Stanley. Additional roles include MGA Student Page at The Maryland General Assembly, Vice Chair of Outreach at Youth Creating Change, and Economic Policy Fellow at What We All Deserve. Oorja is also the Founder and Executive Director of Equality Through Education and the Menstrual Equity Education Coalition, as well as a National Youth Advisory Councilmember for PERIOD. Oorja has completed studies at Richard Montgomery High School and participated in the UChicago x MIT Young Innovators Program.
