Cheney Chen

Cheney Chen is a seasoned professional in building science and energy efficiency, currently serving as Co-Director of the Energy Lab and Senior Associate at Perkins&Will since February 2015. With a robust involvement in standardization, Cheney holds membership positions on several committees under the Standards Council of Canada focusing on indoor environment design, environmental management systems, and greenhouse gas management. Active in multiple organizations, Cheney contributes expertise to the Canada Green Building Council, ASHRAE, and Engineers and Geoscientists BC. An academic background includes a PhD in Building Science from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor's in Architecture from Harbin Institute of Technology.
