Heather Sutherland

Heather Sutherland is a highly experienced interior designer currently serving as a Senior Associate and Interior Technical Designer at Perkins&Will since July 2017, with a progressive career that includes various roles such as Associate and Interior Designer III. Academic qualifications include a Master of Interior Design from The University of Texas at Austin and a BFA in Fine Arts from Loyola University New Orleans. Previous experience includes a Graduate Research Assistantship at The University of Texas at Austin, where assistance was provided to the Interior Design Program Director with a book proposal, along with roles as a Teaching Assistant and Exhibitions Assistant. Additional professional experience includes research positions at KASITA and Ecology Action of Texas, and entrepreneurial ventures as the owner of Twisted Stitches 512, alongside several teaching roles in crafting and community organization.
