Islam Ibrahim

Islam (Sam) Ibrahim is a seasoned urban designer with a diverse professional background in architectural design and urban planning. Currently serving as a Development Permit Board Advisory Panel Member for the City of Vancouver and a Board of Variance Committee Member for the City of New Westminster, Islam actively contributes to community-informed urban growth. With experience at Perkins&Will as an Urban Designer and previous roles as an Intermediate Designer at AURA and Head of Architecture at Minka Development, Islam has demonstrated expertise in managing design processes and preparing detailed architectural plans. Islam holds a Master's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from The University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering from The American University in Cairo.
