James Lu serves as Principal and Regional Director for Perkins+Will, overseeing operations in Asia since June 2013. In conjunction with this role, James Lu has held the position of Managing Director for Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects in China since February 2018. Prior experience includes Regional Director of Urban Design in Architecture at AECOM from 2010 to March 2013 and Urban Design Director at Edaw from September 2004 to June 2010. James Lu began their career as a Senior Designer at HLW International LLP from September 2002 to September 2004. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture from the Harvard University Graduate School of Design (2000-2002) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Toronto (2004-2009).
