Jorge Bernal

Jorge Bernal, NCIDQ, IIDA, Assoc. AIA, LEED GA, currently serves as Practice Leader - Principal at Perkins&Will since May 2023. Previously, Jorge held the position of Senior Associate at Gensler from July 2017 to May 2023, co-leading the Miami Work Studio that catered to a diverse clientele. Additional experience includes roles as Associate Vice President at CallisonRTKL, where Jorge served as Design Director and Office Design Experience Lead from January 2015 to July 2017, and various positions at Gensler, RTKL, EYP Inc., and Schapiro Associates spanning from 1995 to 2015. Jorge earned a Master’s degree in Architecture from Virginia Tech and previously studied at Florida International University.
