Luc Deckinga

Luc Deckinga is an experienced professional in the field of architecture and design, currently serving as the Digital Practice Manager at Perkins+Will since October 2016. In this role, Luc focuses on enhancing the firm’s design processes through the integration of computational design tools and workflows, collaborating with research departments and project teams across over 20 global offices. Prior to this position, Luc held various roles at Perkins+Will, including Design Application Manager and Computational Designer, where responsibilities included BIM planning and software training. Luc's background spans several notable firms, such as Fougeron Architecture, Blu Homes, and EHDD Architecture, with expertise in residential design, digital modeling, and architectural education as a Research/Teaching Assistant at Columbia University. Luc holds a Master of Architecture from Columbia University and a BFA in Design from The University of Texas at Austin.
