Julie McDaniel

Julie McDaniel has over 25 years of experience in marketing, sales, and communications. Julie began their career in 1994 as an International Sales Manager for SoNet spol. s.r.o. in Brno, Czech Republic, where they were responsible for all international operations of the company, maintaining relationships and communication with all foreign vendors and clients, conducting an in-depth marketing analysis, tracking progress on all potential projects, and analysing and negotiating contracts with potential vendors. In 1995, they became the Marketing Communication Manager for Eastern Europe at SCO. In 1997, they joined Perle Systems Limited as Vice President Marketing, based in Toronto, Canada. In this role, they managed worldwide marketing to maximize quality website traffic and generate product demand. In 2000, they were promoted to Marketing Manager – EMEA for the Specialix Europe Division of the company, based in Byfleet, UK. In this role, they managed the EMEA tactical marketing team to localize and implement global marketing initiatives throughout EMEA, ensured effective distribution management and reseller recruitment with co-operative marketing funds, designed and implemented sales aids internally and throughout the distribution and reseller channel, designed an online corporate PRM strategy to retain and recruit resellers as business partners, and lead product managers to design and implement sales aids internally and throughout the channel.
