Our Practice
Perlmutter Dermatology is a physician-owned, private practice in Delmar, New York dedicated to offering a full spectrum of dermatological services. This includes medical, surgical, and select cosmetic treatments tailored to individuals of every age.
The practice is led by Dr. Alexis Perlmutter, a dual board-certified Dermatologist and Pediatrician, who established the practice after living and working in the area for eight years. Her move to Delmar in 2016, alongside her husband, ophthalmologist Dr. David Perlmutter, marked the beginning of her journey into what would inevitably become a family vocation. The Perlmutter legacy, deeply rooted in providing outstanding ophthalmologic care at Perlmutter Eye Center for over six decades, is a testament to the family's commitment to excellence in patient care. This lineage includes the pioneering efforts of Dr. Henry Dubins, Dr. Lawrence Perlmutter, and continues with Dr. David Perlmutter.  Dr. Alexis Perlmutter is thrilled to broaden this legacy of trusted medical excellence to dermatological care.
