Fergus Long

Fergus Long is a seasoned professional in the field of risk management and financial modelling, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Commercial Modelling at permanent tsb since September 2023. With extensive experience spanning over 16 years, Fergus has held significant roles such as Risk Models & Stress Testing Expert at KBC Bank Ireland, where responsibilities included managing Internal Ratings-Based (IRB) models and conducting stress testing. Prior positions at AIB and Bank of Ireland involved developing credit strategies and validating risk models. Fergus holds a Master’s degree in Financial Engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance & Economics from Maynooth University, as well as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from Trinity College Dublin.
