Caleb West

Caleb West is a Lead Production Engineer at Permian Resources, specializing in New Mexico since September 2022, building on a solid foundation of experience in production engineering from roles at Colgate Energy and SM Energy Company. At Colgate Energy, Caleb West focused on optimizing production from high H2S assets while successfully enhancing efficiency metrics. Prior experience at SM Energy Company included responsibilities in production, drilling, completions, and field production engineering across multiple operations within the Midland Basin, where significant contributions led to reduced lift costs and improved operational outcomes. Caleb West began the career with various internships in engineering, culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University.
